From your own home! Kitchen scraps, leaves, newspapers, manure and almost anything that came from a plant can be made into compost. We recommend everyone to compost at their own homes to reduce waste, save money and the environment! Animal Manure
There are plenty of folks who have cows, sheep’s and horses around Tucson if you see or know of anyone just ask them to donate their manure for your vegetable garden. Make sure that the animals are not being fed any Bermuda hay.
